Next time you are at the courts, you should notice several new additions and enhancements.

This is our communications center. It is located facing the parking lot on the side of court 1. Important information regarding pickleball will be posted, along with the monthly play schedule, board member names, pictures and contact information. We have also installed a Guest Fees Drop Box to the lower right side. This will replace the old “jar with rocks”. When guests are welcome back to our courts, they simply need to lift the lid and drop in their money.

The towel wringer has been mounted under the covered area on the left hand side. It is very easy to operate. The trash can we placed underneath can be used as a way to hold the towels as they are being fed through as well as catch the water that is expelled. If the sun is out, place towels along the rock wall to dry. If they are still wet and you are leaving, they can be hung on the towel bars on the right end of the covered area.

You will also notice enhanced signage reminding people about wearing masks and maintaining social distancing. Limited furniture in the social area is intentional, allowing for only one chair per table. Additionally, we have ordered a couple of banner style signs. They should be arriving soon.

Just as we have been doing, please remember to wipe all hard surfaces with bleach water on rags or use the bleach water in the spray bottles in the tall grey cabinet. Hard surfaces include chairs, tables, umbrella cranks and gate locks. Community pickleballs should also be dunked in bleach water (in the white bucket) and then rinsed with clean water (in the blue bucket) before returning them to the baskets for others to use. Water for the buckets can be secured in the pool area. The faucet is under the clock. When in the pool area, please be sure to wear your mask and use the one way foot traffic path (in at the bocce courts, out by our courts).
