Just a reminder to close and secure all umbrellas when you are finished using them. If you are one of the last groups to play at the end of the day and you see umbrellas still up, please close and secure them with the strap velcroed around the post before leaving the courts. This pertains to all umbrellas including those on the side walkways and the back wooden benches. Umbrellas can be damaged during high wind and rain events.

Also, we are starting to have a problem with grit from the tennis courts making its way onto the pickleball courts. This is extremely dangerous from a sliding standpoint, and can also result in damage to the soft surface of courts 1 and 2. If you play both tennis and pickleball and wear the same shoes for each sport, please be vigilant to clean the bottom treads before moving from one surface to another. You will find bristle shoe cleaners near the court doors for this, or any other tread cleaning purpose.
