Whalen just completed the last asphalt layer. The ladies who were playing and I moved all the benches to make a barrier between the social area and the new asphalt surface. Hopefully this will keep everyone out and off the new surface as it cures.

PLEASE DO NOT WALK ON THE ASPHALT UNTIL AT LEAST THURSDAY MORNING!! After that, limit any time on the surface, unless you have to make a trip to the shed. Continue to use the push brooms or bring your own blower to clear the court surfaces for playing.

Fingers crossed for good weather and patience as we wait 3 – 4 weeks for the next steps to begin!!
