Hi everyone – seems like the new schedule is working out well and the courts have been busy. Jose’s Clinics have been at maximum participation and we are almost through the list of people who were on hold for lessons. Life is busy at CF!
Just a few reminders to help everyone have equal access to play:
- If you are playing on Courts 1-4, the clock will determine when you are finished. All of these courts are used on a predetermined schedule, so please vacate them on time so the next group can start promptly.
- If you are playing on Courts 5&6, the honor system is in place for ending up to 2 hours after you first walk on to warm up or play. These courts show up well on the new webcam, so you can always check that to see availability ahead of coming to the courts.
- Sherrill Bradsher is a new player. Like many other new players, she is looking to meet people to play with. She and her husband have started working to build a novice players’ spreadsheet to help facilitate sharing that information. If you would like to be included, contact her at sherrillgb@yahoo.com
- As per a POA agreement with nearby homeowners, our facility hours are 8am – 8pm daily. We would appreciate it if everyone only plays within those hours.
- We need to start creating a list of those who already know how to operate and use the ball machine. Once Jose begins teaching more people via his Clinic, we would like to offer the opportunity to make a ball machine reservation. This would be done on a new separate Sign Up Genius link. It will ONLY be sent to those who have been trained. So, IF YOU HAVE ALREADY BEEN TRAINED AND WANT TO RECEIVE THE LINK, please email me at cherylmanzone59@gmail.com.
On a personal note – As I help my family with my dad’s recent transition to hospice care in Ohio, I will be coming and going from CF a lot more. Therefore, one of the other Board members may actually respond to an inquiry that I pass along. I appreciate everyone’s understanding and patience moving forward.
