        A great year so far for the Connestee Falls                                                            Pickleball Club…

Our ever growing Club is still growing each and every year.

   2018 accomplishments

        2 New “state of the art” courts. Now we have 6 courts to accommodate our growing Membership.

Our “new to pickleball” lessons welcomed dozens of new players to this great sport in 2018

We now have a new user friendly Blog site all set up and visited by over 150 Connestee Resident/club members. It is now ready to go for some creative content.

A large number of club members took part in an all important “first aid/AED” class.

Brand new umbrellas for the social area.

New water cooler for the back courts

Introduction of a new playing schedule to include more “All Play” times.

We enjoyed many monthly and weekly socials.

The club now owns it’s own Power leaf blower and BBQ grill.

We hosted an extremely successful Student Scholarship Tournament. Raising over $8500 for the Students.

As most of you know,  our senior advisor par excellence Tom McMurray has left the committee and we are now in search of his replacement.

And lastly, I am stepping down this month as the committee chair. The committee has voted our treasurer / IT specialist to the Chairman’s position. I’m glad to tell you that the vote was unanimous. John’s energy and attention to detail makes him perfect for the position. Bill, Pat, and myself will continue as members of the committee and all look forward to working with Tom’s replacement. 2019 should be an even better year for our Club Members. We have great momentum and spirit. Our club’s welcoming attitude for all of the new resident members has been infectious, so let’s keep it up!
