At the meeting this afternoon I shared the following email from General Manager, Jim Whitmore when asked about any change to the start date for the project:

“We talked to Whalen (contractor) and they have significantly increased the cost since the proposal they sent last year as materials and labor costs have skyrocketed. The estimate they gave was 80k and now it is 120k. I (Jim) discussed with the Board (CF POA) and they still support moving forward but I need to wait to get a new proposal and then convene a Board meeting for them to approve the overage. Hopefully we will have the proposal Monday (March 7) and go from there. The start date will most likely be moved back a week or two to the end of March or first week of April.”
