I am pleased to announce that 187 people participated in our recent election. Betsey Merriken received the highest number of votes of the three candidates. She will fill the open Board position. She has also agreed to continue to facilitate the running of the Social Committee as part of her Board responsibilities.

Further, in speaking with both Jose Galan and Erika Fleury, they too would like to contribute their time and talents in various ways. Jose has graciously agreed to take on the role of chairing the Player Development committee (as Deb Richter had in the past). The Player Development committee oversees functions such as lessons, skill development clinics/sessions, evaluations, etc. He will work with the Board in developing a plan for the year and share it with club members prior to implementation. Erika Fleury has been working with novice players. She would like to continue in, and possibly expand on that role.

THANK YOU SO MUCH TO ALL THREE OF THESE INDIVIDUALS!! It is because of members like these that we can continue to grow as a pickleball club. Please join me in welcoming all of them to their new roles!!
