I sent this email yesterday to all members of the CF POA Board of Directors on behalf of the pickleball club. When Jim Whitmore informed me of the cost increase for the court replacement project, he indicated that Board members were supportive of continuing to fund the project, even at the new numbers. I just want to be sure.

Good evening members of the CF POA Board of Directors –

On behalf of the Pickleball Club Committee and all the club membership, I would like to thank you for your continued commitment to fund the pickleball court replacement project in full even though prices have increased since the last proposal. Please know that the club membership has been apprised of the scope of the project and together with the Club Committee, has developed a court use plan to implement when we have just two courts to share among the approximately 200 members. Even with this temporary change, they are excited for the project to begin.

I also speak with many realtors and prospective homeowners on a regular basis. Having quality pickleball courts in our community sells properties/homes. 

We know, when completed, that this project will offer both a safer and more functional facility which can be enjoyed for many years to come. Again, thank you for supporting full funding of the job.

I am also going to attend the Board meeting on Monday, March 14th at 3pm in the Cherokee Room. A project update and motion to fund the increase should both be presented. Again, if other members would like to be in attendance as a show of support, come and join me.
