I am writing because you helped support us in promoting our Cummings Cove Care Charity Tournament, in 2022. With your help, we were able to raise $2500 for the Free Clinics of Henderson county, with this one day event. So, first and foremost, Thank You!
Because we had so much fun with this tournament, we have decided to do it again this year. In keeping with giving back to the community, we will once again run it as a charity tournament. So, this will be the 2nd Annual Cummings Cove Charity Tournament. This year’s tournament will be a three-day event with Women’s, Mixed, and Men’s.
This year’s tournament will benefit the “Victory Garden” at Cummings Cove. Victory Garden was started by a group of resident volunteers who had a passion for gardening and giving back to the community. They began their mission to provide freshly grown vegetables for those in need in Hendersonville and Transylvania counties. In 2022 the volunteer group grew 6400lbs of vegetables and delivered them to the “Fishes and Loaves Food Pantry” in Etowah, NC , “The Sharing House” in Brevard, NC, and the Free Clinics in Hendersonville, NC., throughout the growing season. They produce a quality product that is greatly appreciated by those in need.
We hope that you will join us again this year in helping us promote this tournament, for this wonderful cause. I am attaching a copy of the brochure and registration form for your review and convenience. Please feel free to contact me at robin_virbickis@yahoo.com if you have any questions.
Thank you
