Eliot Butter contacted me about possibly moving the paddle holder to the outside fence by the bulletin board. Some folks felt that the social area was crowded while waiting and people tended to congregate near the holder. By moving it closer to the parking lot, it gives people the chance to spread out more.

So tomorrow when you come to the courts, we will give it a try. However, IT IS STILL EVERYONE’S PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY TO MAINTAIN 6 FEET OF SOCIAL DISTANCING WHILE WAITING TO PLAY. Help remind each other. Look for the red tape marks on the ground or on the wooden benches in the back to give you a better idea of how far this is. Do NOT pull chairs together around tables. If you are uncomfortable, wear a mask and wait in a different location. You will not lose your turn if your paddle is placed in the holder.

It would be helpful if everyone could put their name on their paddle. That way when a group is called, names can be used.

I know everyone is happy to be able to play, but we still must remain cautious when socializing. Your cooperation is expected and appreciated.
