After careful deliberation, we as a Board, along with the tournament director, Jose Galan, and General Manager Jim Whitmore, have decided to hold the 10th Annual Student Scholarship Pickleball Tournament as scheduled on September 24-26.

Two key factors that influenced our decision were – understanding that there will only be up to 35-40 participants in each play session and having no local or state mandates that dictate restrictions on holding outside events. However, in order to address the concerns of a few individuals who contacted us directly (thank you for your input) and as a way to provide what we feel to be the safest possible environment for holding this outside event, we will be using the following protocols:

• No spectators
• Mask should be worn at all times, unless actively playing or eating/drinking
• Social distancing should be maintained while waiting to play
• Limited number of tournament volunteers
