Hello Connestee Picklers,
While I was away in Florida this winter, I was lucky to have a private lesson with Scott Tingley and we talked about him coming up to Connestee Falls for a series of clinics. May 19th and 20th work in his schedule. Our Pickleball Club Committee and the GM are all on board, so we are announcing clinics and possible private lessons with Scott and Bob, both ranked senior pro players and accomplished instructors. We will host 2 six hour clinics and both instructors will work with everyone in the clinic. Cost for the clinics will be $120 per person and the coaches will donate $100 back to the Scholarship Fund. Private lessons (very limited) are $80, semi-privates $90 for 2 people and $100 for 3 or 4 players. These clinics will be focused on skill development and shot selection, rather than the strategy that was stressed this past year with Helle Sparre. Below is a short bio about the instructors.
Bob White is a professional pickleball player sponsored by Engage and ranked in the top 25 in the world for senior pro players. Being a passionate player and experienced instructor allows Bob to bring a well-rounded knowledge to the court whether he’s competing or instructing. His love for people and the game of pickleball merge together in a perfect unison, creating a high energy, easily understandable clinic or specialized one-on-one lesson to meet your individualized goals. Bob’s fuel to compete is contagious and transferred through his lessons which allows his students and players to ignite their game and reach that desired playing goal.
Scott Tingley, Senior Pro Pickleball Player sponsored by Selkirk, is a native of Florida and Veteran in the US Air Force. Scott started his racquet career with tennis, ranking nationally for the first time at age 14. After finding pickleball in 2012, Scott was soon playing with national champions. He has played in numerous tournaments, earning over 50 medals with a current Senior Pickleball World ranking of 21 in Mixed and 22 in Doubles. Scott has been a private pickleball coach in the Southwest area and has been conducting group clinics around the country. He also serves as an IPTPA Certifier for Instructors.
To reserve your spot, a check and your skill level (self rated) must be mailed (or handed to) Deb Richter 233 Tsalagi Dr. Brevard, NC 28712. I will confirm your spot upon receipt. The sessions will be 3 hours each day, morning or afternoon. If you have a preference of session, please include that with your check and I will TRY to accommodate. Checks should be made out to Scott Tingley and not dated. They will not be cashed until the clinics.
