Many of you are asking what level should I play in the upcoming 9th Annual Connestee Falls Scholarship Tournament.

As in all sports there is a range within each rating depending on the varying skill of the person within that range.  For example a rating of 3.5 may vary from a 3.5, 3.6, 3.7, 3.8, or a 3.9. So as you can see a higher level 3.5 player is very close to a lower level 4.0 player.

The true individual assigned  ratings are established for those who play sanctioned tournaments and are computer generated based on specific games played.

For our club I encourage you to read through the below skill level ratings. Choose the level that best fits your skill level.

Same applies for our everyday play with the break out of the Advance and All Play. The breakout allows for competitive play among the different skill levels. The breakout sessions are not mutually exclusive. In fact we encourage our advanced players to play in All Play and help our members improve their game.

Play at the level where you feel that you are most comfortable providing a competitive game with those you are playing with.
