Wow, it was great to see so many folks out enjoying our courts today before the rain. Sunday morning is typically a busy time, so it was a good test of our new guidelines for Phase 2. Here are some observation reminders:

• when reserving a court using Sign Up Genius – be sure you know what court number you have chosen. If you arrive to find a group playing on your assigned court, politely inform them of your reservation. Do not simply play on another court that is open, as this then continues to effect other groups who are arriving as well. Each court has clearly marked signage that states the type of court it is – reservable or first come, first served. Please use them as such.
• be considerate of others who would also like to play by not signing up to reserve more than one block of time on Saturday or Sunday morning.
• remember to clean your area before you leave using the bleach water solution and rags or spray bottle that we have provided. This applies to ALL PLAYERS, even those who provide their own pickleballs. You still have touched gate locks, chairs/benches, umbrellas or table surfaces that need to be cleaned.
• if you are one of the first groups to arrive at the courts, please fill the white bucket with a little water from the faucet in the pool area and add some bleach. All community pickleballs can stay in this bucket, but this is also water to use for cleaning as stated above.
• If you think you might be the last group of the day, please empty the water from the bucket down the grate near the parking lot before you leave. This helps assure that the pickleballs do not sit in bleach water solution overnight.

You may have noticed a new tall storage cabinet under the covered area. This is where the towels and some other items will now live. Brad Caldwell is in the process of making shelves to fit that we hope will be installed this week.

I am also attaching a copy of the file that Deb Richter made for players who have agreed to have their contact information shared with others as a way of promoting arranged group play. Thanks to Deb for pulling this together!
